In both the reading pane and message windows on Outlook 2016, the \"To\" and \"Cc\" recipients are collapsed into a single list. Whilst you can use the drop down arrow to show whether an email I've received was directly to me or I'm just a carbon copy recipient, is there any way to always show the To and Cc lists separately without having to drop this down for every email
Outlook 2016 for Windows and Office 2016 for Mac are included with your Microsoft 365 subscription, are available as part of several different Office 2016 suites, and can be purchased as standalone programs. The two versions do share many of the same features, but there are key differences as well. Both programs allow you to send and receive mail from both business and personal email accounts, add appointments and meetings to your calendar, and manage your contacts. Archiving, Bcc (blind carbon copy), spellcheck, email signatures, and junk mail filtering are also included with both programs.
Outlook.com is a free email service for your personal email. Anyone can go to and sign up for a free email account. Previously known as Hotmail.com and Live.com, you can use Outlook.com if your email address ends in @outlook.com, @hotemail.com, @msn.com, or @live.com.
Primarily designed for the consumer, Outlook.com offers many of the same features as Outlook on the web. You can add other email addresses to Outlook.com and check your home or work email through the Outlook.com service. Alternatively, you can add your Outlook.com email account to Outlook 2016. You can make appointments and schedule meetings, add attachments to your messages from OneDrive or from your computer, and manage your contacts and tasks. I wish to have pictures separately attached to (and NOT within the body of) incoming emails automatically previewed, to avert the inefficiency in manually right-clicking each picture and then selecting Preview.

Well, I have been using Sendmail, a small applet that uses Microsoft outlook excel and word in the simplest of ways and it can send email shot batches (single email every time x emails you want to send daily) thus avoiding spam detection. As this is an article from someone else I will avoid putting any links to the product.
When you install modern Microsoft Office 2019, 2016 and Office 365 versions, you cannot choose to install separate Office apps, change a path to the installation directory, select a language or change any other settings. The full Office package is always installed (all Office apps from Microsoft Office package are installed at once). In the Office Installer interface, the user cannot choose to install only specific applications or change any settings. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle []).push({});

Is there any way to change the order that multiple accounts are shown in the left (folders) pane of Outlook 2016 Mac's main window Or do I have to delete the topmost account and add it again to move it lower in the list
I'm a new user of Outlook Mac 2016. I added two mail accounts (work and personal) and I want to keep them visually separate in Outlook. So I unchecked the \"Group similar folders, such as Inboxes, from different accounts\". But now my personal email account (that I added first to Outlook) is on top and my work account is on the bottom.
I just upgraded to Outlook for Mac 2016 and have 4 accounts - and of course my new client is at the bottom. Something really easy - go into your accounts and just add A) account name B) Account name C) account name. Its a little clunky but you see a nice list with the accounts in the order you want. Good luck!
I have a user that is inexplicably finding that he now gets a separate icon stack when he creates a new email or \"open[s] [a] message in another window\" in Outlook 2016. He does not want this but I cannot seem to find a clear answer. Other than Taskbar icon hiding, do you know of a way to put this back to normal It feels like it would just be a single check-box somewhere in the File>Options area, but I cannot find anything.
The closest I could pin down is it seemed to happen whenever the PC had lost network connectivity or its connection to outlook while the program was still running and it (the mail account settings) were set to Online Mode. Once the connection was restored, new items in Outlook would be a separate taskbar item until Outlook was closed and restarted. After that, it behaved normally again. Changing between a wired and wireless connection with Outlook running occasionally seemed to cause it also.
Many of us have at least two e-mail accounts, one for business and one for personal use. However, sometimes it is difficult to manage multiple accounts and check the new emails separately in different email accounts. Similarly, users in Outlook create multiple accounts that are difficult to handle. In this blog, we will reveal the top techniques to merge multiple email accounts in Outlook 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007, configured with either IMAP or POP3.
Considering one of the most asked user queries i.e., how to merge multiple email accounts in Outlook 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007, we have come up with this article. Here, we compiled all the possible manual as well as automatic techniques to execute the task safely. All users have to do is follow the guidelines sequentially to avoid any kind of data loss. Users can opt for any solution as per current demands and preferences.
Microsoft recently launched the Office 2016 Preview and it includes several new features. One of the new features in Outlook is called Modern Attachments. It allows you to attach files from OneDrive and configure permissions, all without leaving Outlook.

To make sure emails from important contacts stand out and do not go unnoticed, you can set up a rule that makes the email appear in a specific color or a specific size and type of font. For example, you can make emails from your boss appear in a larger font or have emails from family members all appear in red. To set up the way emails are displayed for Outlook for Microsoft 365 (downloaded app only, not web-based outlook.live.com), Outlook 2021, Outlook 2019, Outlook 2016, and Outlook 2010:
Summary is that Outlook 2016 for Windows often add \"weird\" lines at the bottom of some table cell and those lines are coloured like the body bgcolor, so you mainly see them if your main content background color is different from your body bgcolor.
There might be something to this. I know this is purely anecdotal, but I also have my templates built within a single wrapper table and rows for each of the stacked section tables - and I've only encountered the Outlook 2016 line issue once (out of 40 emails since I started watching this issue).
I thought I had this issue under control in my emails until our companys outlook 2016 had been updated to version 1704. With this update came a massive reoccurence of the 1px outlook 2016 problem, not only in my emails but in most of our benchmark mails, too. Seems like litmus hasn't yet adapted v 1704, since my email looks fine there.None of the solutions given in this thread worked, changing the table height even made it worse. I will keep trying to get around the problem and keep you posted. Has someone else experienced the problem with this version
I know this post is old, but there's a really simple fix. In the past we set a line-height to 0 on 's for Outlook, however, beginning with Outlook 2016, the minimum line-height became .7pt (.75pt to be exact) which reintroduced the issue. 59ce067264
